Refund Policy

Refunds and cancellations are at the sole discretion of EduClasses® dba FMC® Food Managers Certification.


Concerning Prometric Proctored Examinations including Test Centers & ProProctor Remote.

Refunds are only considered for the following reasons:

  • Duplicate transactions
  • Incorrect purchases within FMC® Food Managers Certification, FoodManagersCertification.com

Types of refund options include:

  • Full Refund – The request must be made within two (2) weeks of the original purchase date and the Prometric Proctored Exam Session has NOT been scheduled.
  • Full Refund - The request must be made within two (2) weeks of the original purchase date and the Scheduled Prometric Proctored Exam Session is more than 6 weeks from the purchase transaction date.
  • Exam Refund Only – The request must be made within two (2) weeks of the original purchase date and the Scheduled Prometric Proctored Exam Session is less than 6 weeks from the purchase transaction date.

There will be no Refund of Exam or Proctor Fee:

  • If it the request is made past the two weeks of the original purchase date.
  • Or, if the candidate does not attend their Scheduled Prometric Proctored Exam Session.

Concerning EduProctor™ FMC® Bulk Exams and Training Issued to Food Manager Candidates by EduProctors

  • Food Manager Candidates who have redeemed Bulk Codes issued via an EduProctor™ FMC® Bulk Order will need to seek refund from the EduProctor™ who issued the bulk codes to the Candidate.
  • EduProctor™ Proctor Fees are not collected by FMC® and therefore not refundable via FMC®.

EduProctor™ Bulk Purchase Refunds Purchased by EduProctors who are seeking Refunds

  • Refunds for bulk orders may be calculated proportionately for purchases made within the previous 30 days, applicable only to codes that haven't been redeemed.

Prometric Rescheduling and Cancellations Policy

If you wish to Reschedule your exam date or time within 5-30 days prior to your appointment, do so by using the Reschedule/Cancel option on this Web Site or by contacting Prometric's automated voice response system at: 800-479-6215 (in North America) or by contacting Prometric's Regional Registration Center (outside North America); the Website is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, an additional fee of $25 collected by Prometric will be required to reschedule. 
 
Important Notice: No Rescheduling or Cancellations Within 5 Days

Rescheduling or canceling an exam appointment is not permitted within 5 days of your scheduled appointment. Any requests to change your appointment date or time must be submitted no later than 5 full days in advance. If you fail to attend your appointment or attempt to reschedule/cancel within this 5-day window, you will forfeit all exam and appointment fees.

There is No charge for changing an appointment within the same testing window if the change is made 31 or more days prior to your appointment. 
 
If you choose not to show for your appointment and do not submit a cancellation / reschedule request, you will forfeit your assessment and testing appointment fees.


EduProctor™ Rescheduling and Cancellations

  • Communicate with Proctor for rescheduling and cancellations.
  • Additional fees may be incurred.

No refunds will be issued:

  • If a FMC certificate was issued for the recent purchase in dispute;
  • If Proctored Exam Session has been started;
  • If Study material has been accessed, begun or downloaded;
  • For not meeting the criteria for quizzes, final exams, or any other in-course assessments within the permitted attempts as outlined in the program guidelines;
  • For inability to satisfy identity validation prerequisites such as biometrics, security questions, or other mandated methods according to program guidelines;
  • For program expiration of examinations, training or scheduled proctored sessions;
  • For Prometric Proctor Fees collected by Prometric due to rescheduling or cancellations.

Approved refunds will be processed within 5 – 7 business days from the date of approval.

Note:  Please communicate with the proctor service regarding their specific refund policy.

If your Refund Request passes the above requirements and you are still in need of a refund, you can request a refund by the following processes.

  • Log into your account.
  • Submit a “Support Ticket” stating the reason why you are seeking a refund.

When we have reviewed your refund request, we will promptly contact you within 24 hours during normal business hours.
